Liminal video recap 16-9.mp4

A single silk structure “falls from the sky,” transformed through digital mapping into a living surface of light, image, and movement. Digital works are projected onto fabric, creating a sculptural, immersive environment that interacts with the architecture and night.

Featuring a curated selection of generative and moving-image artists, the exhibition delivers an intimate, elegant, and high-impact experience.

FOCUS on The Collection | 3rd presentation of the Sylwia and Piotr Krupa Collection

FOCUS is an exhibition presenting selected works recently acquired for the collection of Sylwia and Piotr Krupa, the majority of which were created over the past few years.

The exhibition concentrates on art that is acutely contemporary—produced here and now, in a world that is constantly accelerating, transforming, and repeatedly eluding clear-cut diagnoses. The contemporary art scene unfolds along multiple trajectories, and the richness of its themes and practices makes it impossible to identify a single, shared current.

Quantum Computer Disco

The quantum computer holds tremendous promise due to its extraordinary computational power. This exhibition allows you to understand quantum programming through a “DJ experience.”

In this exhibition, you'll first grasp how quantum computers perform calculations through a DJ experience. What makes them different from modern "classical "computers? How do they utilize "quantum mechanics" as the source of their powerful computational abilities? And what can they achieve? After the DJ experience, we'll explain through short movies, comics, films, and games. Imagine the future that quantum computers—once only science fiction—will bring to reality.

knyd for ‘sawako'

It has been nearly a year since the untimely passing of sound artist sawako, who shared a deep and meaningful connection with both of our spaces: gift_lab and Yamanoie in Echigo-Tsumari.

To honor her memory, we are hosting an installation at gift_lab by visual artist knyd / Kenichi Yoneda, who created the visual work for her final album, Stella Epoca.

Coincidentally, the two collaborated three summers ago at Yamanoie, where they held an open residency/production within the daily life of the Yamanoie cafe. Following that spirit, this installation will be quietly placed within the "everyday" atmosphere of gift_lab, allowing it to naturally exist and breathe within the space.
